Archival Unit Officer – Karachi

Incumbent must be graduate having minimum working experience of 3 to 5 years of expertise in relevant field or in a relevant activity where achieving of corporate records was an integral part of the candidate’s profile. Candidate must have proven track record of maintaining the records of an organization as per above defined responsibilities. Knowledge of applicable policies is a must. Must be able to use common Microsoft Applications like MS Office, email and automated applications for Data / Record Management, Track Record of Maintaining an electronic Data Base Management System along with Physical Storage of Data in a similar organizational role.

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timely document delivery and tracking of past issued records to Branches, Area Offices and Head Office Departments
  • Provide document control services to departments
  • Updating and maintenance of the document control data base by monitoring all incoming / outgoing documentation and entering and management of document data onto Excel Sheet
  • Ensuring all documents are easily accessible at all times – both hard and electronic copies (Where Applicable)
  • Archive all data, including hard and electronic copies (as required / as applicable)
  • Monitor and continuously improve the effectiveness of data management policy
  • Provide reports on the performance of the document management system (when implemented in FWBL)
  • Ensuring all document control procedures are adhered to.
