help them in attaining a level of economic self-sufficiency.
There are both practical obstacles as well as social
constraints faced by women who are interested in
improving their economic prospects.
Credit can only be effective when it is understood as one
aspect of an integrated set of support service to
strengthen women's-economic activities. |
Financial Services Desk (FSD) serves as a powerful tool for economic empowerment and support
to women, by providing support and advise on Credit Management, Legal issues, Taxation and Marketing. |

Our objectives are to:

Assist women in interacting with government organisations, trade bodies, taxation authorities,
as well as non- government institutions.

Provide technical support to export oriented entrepreneurs.

Help women attain higher economic standards, through
specific consumer loan products.

Provides an array of financial services as well as technical
expertise, on the spot.

Address problems arising in any specific areas of business
such as financing, marketing, management, legal issues, tax matters, etc.

Caters to business entities owned/managed by women.

Provide an environment where women entrepreneurs are at
ease as they are dealing with women bankers. Consumer loan products, such as home improvement loans,
car loans, home loans and other such schemes.
To date, Rs. 1,298 million were disbursed to 381 women owned
business enterprises, through Financial Services Desk. |
