Naila Gurmani
Florist

My business is an extension of my passion for gardening and flower arrangements. I have farms in Murree and Bedian where I use both imported and local bulbs. I started a shop in Multan which did extremely well but it became difficult to run it long-distance from Lahore where I live. The local vendors gave me a hard time initially, but once I established a reputation for top quality and skill, they became more co-operative.

I then opened an outlet in Lahore in 1997. I provide bouquets and flower arrangements as well as special arrangements for parties, weddings and other events. Why did I approach the FWBL? They are here especially to facilitate women, so it was an obvious choice for a businesswoman. My acquaintance with the Bank has been short but favourable. I hope to export flowers to the Middle East and European markets in the near future.
