Stationary Officer – Karachi

Incumbent must have minimum qualification of MBA (Supply Chain) having minimum experience of 3 to 5 years of expertise in relevant field or in a relevant activity where maintenance of inventory control was an integral part of the candidate’s profile.  Candidate must have proven track record of maintaining the records of stationery, stores, and spares for an organization at Pan Pakistan Level. He/She must Posses the required skills of Business Communication, Vendor Management and Project Management with relevant experiences to inventory management.

They must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employee and vendors; ability to organize items by broad and specific classifications. They must must have Knowledge of PPRA Rules and working knowledge of inventory control practices; working knowledge of stationery management.

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management of Stationery Department
  • Issues supplies, materials, and equipment to Branches / Officers; completes all necessary paperwork for stock items issued, and forwards to manager.
  • Receives delivered supplies, materials, and equipment; confirms that delivered goodsmatch purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, specification, etc; completes all necessary paperwork for stock items received, and forwards to manager.
  • Utilizes computer terminal to properly account for issues, returns, receipts ofnew materials and associated orders; inputs essential data on all materials handled;adheres to strict accounting procedures in this regard.
  • Conducts weekly cycle counts of inventory materials based upon suggested re-order listing; assists in conducting complete physical inventory count annually.
  • Organizes and maintains inventory  material storage and handling; maintains labelling system on each stock item; manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned
  • Maintains records and coordinates the periodic safety inspection and testing of specialized utility equipment.
